Baby, It's Cold Outside

I have to be honest. The cold weather conditions don't affect me a whole lot. I actually haven't even gone further than the door of the garage since coming home from church on Sunday. (It is Thursday today.) Even then, we have a heated garage so heading out to church was no biggie.

We don't have a snow day from school today. I don't have to worry about my truck not starting to leave for work. I haven't had to bundle the kids up to get them to school this week.

I am so thankful for all of these things. I was even more thankful when I saw the actual air temperature here at 8am. -25 degrees Fahrenheit. I don't even have a clue what the wind chill is right now. I really don't even need to know.

I am perfectly content to sit with a cup of tea in front of the fireplace and read with my kids.
